It’s rare that to find an event that really caters to the whole family, as well as the entire community. However, each and every year at Taste of Cayman, the huge variety on offer means there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes.
For the younger festival goers, the evening kicks off with some amazing live kids cooking demonstrations and competitions, including the Kids Cooking Demo and the Amateur Chef Cook-Off, both held on the Demo Stage. The All Things Cayman area will also give young people an insight into local culture, with handmade crafts, activities, as well as traditional music. The Kids Area will also be back, with arts, crafts and games to help keep the little ones entertained.
For the young at heart, the night features amazing live music with this year’s headline act; Simply Queen! Taste of Cayman is ready to rock you with some truly incredibly performances, guaranteed to have you dancing away until the very last note. There’s also awesome local acts The Nerverines and Beneil Miller & the Fyah Squad Band, who will be warming up the stage for the headliners.
For the party people, you can expect our bars to be fully stocked with all of your favorite tipples. You will also have plenty of opportunity to explore your drinks palette by visiting one of our many drink vendor tents, offering everything from fine wine to exquisite cocktails.
For those who have been on island for a while, or even their entire life, Taste of Cayman is a great reminder of how much this little piece of paradise has grown. From a handful of local restaurants gathering together for a chili cook-off over 30 years ago, to one of Cayman’s largest and longest running events, Taste of Cayman is something we should all be proud of. The festival continues to reflect both the old and the new of Cayman by welcoming new vendors every year and keeping delicious food and drink at the heart of everything we do.
Remember, our vendors offer a number of different and mouth-watering food to enjoy, so even the pickiest eater is sure to find something to their liking.
